Abstract
We briefly follow through the dominant conceptions of space and time from antiquity to the XXI century, from the absolutism of Plato, Aristotle, and Newton, to the relativism of Huygens, Leibniz and Mach, the unified spacetime of Minkowski, and the geometrodynamics of Riemann and Einstein, from Zeno's Tortoise and Aristotelean causes, to discretization and anticipation, and their interrelation.
